Charmain Seyfert, of Port Washington, passed away in the evening hours of Monday, January 25, 2016 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. She was 78 years old. Charmain was born in Sheboygan on February 11, 1937, daughter of Arthur P. Mueller and Teresa Wiltgen Mueller. She grew up in Port Washington, graduating from Port Washington High School in 1955. Charmain worked as a cashier and office assistant at the Port Washington Sentry Store for over 30 years. She was a former member of the Feith Family YMCA, and enjoyed knitting, reading, puzzles and watching football and Indy car races. She is survived by her children Jeffrey (Helena) Seyfert of Grand Prairie, TX, Gail Schultz of Port Washington, Thomas (Maryanne) Seyfert of Saukville and Karen Dickinson of Columbia, SC. She is further survived by 9 grandchildren: Jennifer (Chris) Hight, Jacob and Joel Seyfert, Joshua (Ashley) Schultz, Ashley (fiancé Anthony Anderson) Schultz, Michelle (Ray) Brouillette, Jason (Jessica) Seyfert, Jessica Seyfert and Kevin (Jennifer) Dickinson, 15 great-grandchildren, one brother, one sister, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister Shirley Mayer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29th at 5 PM at Open Door Bible Church, 3420 County Road LL, Port Washington. Pastor Sid Litke will preside over the service. Charmain will be inurned at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Washington. Visitation will take place at the CHURCH on Friday, January 29th from 3-5 PM.
