Obituary

Mr. Charles Shilts nbsp; Mr. Charles Shilts of S. Main Street in Cedar Grove passed away early March 24 2009 at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. He was 64 years old. Charles was born December 12 1944 in Eau Claire the son of Thomas and Dorothy Buchholz Shilts. Mr. Shilts proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1959-1962.nbsp; On July 30 1965 he was united in marriage with Joan Thompson in Adell. Mr. Shilts was employed at Tecumseh in Grafton for over 20 years and later worked at Production Plastics in Saukville for over 10 years. nbsp;Charlie loved going for motorcycle rides driving around in his PT Cruiser and being outdoors where he enjoyed gardening grilling out mowing the lawn bird watching fishing and watching deer and other wildlife. Mr. Shilts is survived by his wife of over 40 years Joan and their son Sean Shilts of Cedar Grove. He is further survived by his mother Dorothy Shilts of Crivitz one brother Mike Shilts of Lakeland FL one sister Sharon (the late Dennis) Doege of Crivitz his mother-in-law Esther Thompson of Strum two brothers-in-law: James (JoAnn) Thompson of Maple Plain MN and Larry Thompson of Plymouth MN three sisters-in-law: Judy (Pat) Sheperd of Eagen MN Nancy Jackson of Altoona WI and Patty (Keith) Boe of Independence WI nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas and four siblings: Dawn Sandy Steve and Terry Shilts. The family will receive visitors on Saturday March 28 2009 at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Belgium 171 N. Royal Ave. (Hwy LL and Park St.) from 2-4PM for a Gathering of Friendship. The Eernisse Funeral Home Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements.
