Charles "Chuck" Sheppard, of Cedar Grove, formerly of West Allis, passed away in the evening hours of Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Cedar Grove Gardens where he had been a resident. He was 76 years old. Chuck was born in Cudahy on August 21, 1942, son of Harry Sheppard and Lucille Clanin Sheppard. He grew up in Milwaukee, graduating from Riverside High School. After high school, Chuck worked as a fabricator for various Milwaukee area companies, retiring in 2005. Chuck enjoyed watching movies (had to be VHS!) and spending time with his family. He is survived by his three children: Tracy (Ralph) Zareczny of Glenbeulah, Tim Sheppard of Watertown, and Teri (Ron) Sheppard Groshans of Belgium. He is further survived by four grandchildren: Becca and Ryan Zareczny, Brianna (Peter) Garvey and Skyler Sheppard, three great-grandchildren: Noah, Mateo and Liam, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his three brothers: Terry, Rupert and Dennis Sheppard. Funeral services will be celebrated on Sunday, March 17th at 1 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave, Cedarburg. Rev. Diana Otterbacher will preside over the service. A time of gathering will be held prior to the services at the Funeral Home from 11 AM until 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
