McPherson Charles L. Chuck Charles McPherson of Mattoon WI formerly of Saukville passed away unexpectedly on October 11 2012 at Langlade Hospital in Antigo WI. He was 63 years old. Chuck was born in Milwaukee on November 21 1948 son of Richard McPherson and Janet Hunziker McPherson Gerard. Chuck attended school in the West Allis area graduating from West Allis Central High School in 1966. After graduation Chuck enlisted in the United States Marine Corp serving for four years with two tours in Vietnam. Chuck was a very patriotic man. After the Marines he reenlisted in the Army Reserves and retired from service as a Sergeant First Class. On April 29 1967 he married Cathy Gerard in Milwaukee. Chuck worked as a welder for Tower Automotive (formerly A.O. Smith) in Milwaukee retiring in 2000 with over 30 years of service. He was a member of the United Steel Workers and the NRA. He enjoyed hunting fishing working around his retirement home and land and especially spending time with his family. Chuck is survived by his wife Cathy of Mattoon his children Charles Moochie McPherson of West Bend and Cherie (Jay) Neitzer of Saukville. He is further survived by six grandchildren; Nathan Allison Ashley and Mikayla Hilton and Robert and Jaymie Neitzer his parents Richard (the Late Harriet) McPherson of Hazelhurst WI and Janet (Al) Gerard of Lutz FL six brothers and sisters; Rodney (Shari) McPherson of Woodruff WI Linda (Don) Hollingsworth of Acworth GA April (Jim) Hunt of Tampa FL Kitty (Mike) Couch of Land O' Lakes FL Bambi (Paul) Helms of Lutz FL and Randy (Louise Carter) McPherson of Wesley Chapel FL nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 17th at 6 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave Port Washington followed by Military Honors. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service on Wednesday the 17th from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.
