Charles J. Czisny, "Chuck", age 89, entered into eternal life on December 30, 2019. He was born in Mequon, WI on January 23, 1930. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife and best friend of 67 years, Marianne (nee Behnisch). Chuck was a longtime member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Chuck served in the US Army from 1952 until 1954. Upon his return he worked as a tile setter for Bartell Tile. He retired after 30 years. Chuck was the loving father of Mark (Debbie) Czisny, Linda (Scott) Bardwell, Jennifer Halleman, Michael (Diane) Czisny, and Chip (Cheryl) Czisny. He was the proud and cherished grandpa of Amber, Alissa, Joshua, Aaron, Matthew, Eric, Kyle, Megan, Justin, Kristin, Jacob and Nathan, and the proud great-grandpa of William, Jacklyn, Charlie, Helen, Liam and Levi. He is further survived by brother Robert (Pearl) Czisny, and sisters-in-law Kathryn Czisny, Marilyn Behnisch and LaVonne Eischen. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Chuck is preceded in death by infant son Michael, five brothers and one sister. The family would like to offer their thanks for the incredible support from the staff at The Creste at Village Point Commons and Lawlis Family Hospice at Columbia-St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee, and a special thanks for the caring help from Community Care over the years. If desired, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 11th at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Avenue, in Cedarburg. The family will receive guests from 10AM until services at 12PM.
