Charlene "Char" S. Hall (74) of Grafton, passed away December 9, 2023, peacefully and surrounded by family, at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, January 3, 1949, daughter of the late Casimer and Margaret (nee Stratton) Danecki. The family moved to Greenfield when Char was young and she attended local schools. She was a graduate of Whitnall High School, Milwaukee County Hospital School of Nursing, and earned her BSN from Marquette University.

Char found her calling as a Geropsychiatric nurse. Compassionate and caring of her patients throughout her career, she retired from the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex after more than 25 years of practice. Above all, she loved her husband, daughters and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Larry B. Hall, she will be dearly missed by her children, Candie (Mark) Slaminski and Crissie Hall; her five grandchildren, Alexandria, Mateo, Ryan, Makenna and Grayson; sisters, Vickie (Walter) Brown and Debbie (Dennis) Wilke; her brother, Craig (Mary) Danecki; nieces, nephew, other relatives and many dear friends. Char was also preceded in death by her brother Curtis Danecki in 2015.

Private family services were held.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Marquette University College of Nursing in Charlene's name.
