Chad E. Schlenvogt Chad Schlenvogt age 37 years of Port Washington died early Sunday morning March 2 2014 in Upper Michigan. He was born December 26 1976 in Port Washington son of Bonnie Higgins Schlenvogt and the late Earl Schlenvogt Jr. Chad was a 1995 graduate of Port Washington High School and was employed as a maintenance mechanic at Triangle Tool Corporation in Milwaukee for the past 18 years. On September 30 2000 he married Jennifer Rychtik at Harrington Beach State Park in Belgium. Chad was a true outdoorsman and particularly liked duck hunting snowmobiling 4 wheeling and riding his motorcycle. Chad had a passion for speed and raced stock cars in Plymouth and Chilton in his teens and 20's. He also enjoyed coaching his children's softball and t-ball teams and was an active member of Ducks Unlimited. Chad was a loyal friend to everyone he encountered and approached every situation with a smile. Survivors include his wife Jenny his children Alena and Derek his mother Bonnie Schlenvogt of Port Washington his sister Carrie (Steve) Schaefer of Fredonia mother-in-law Joanne Rychtik father-in-law Jim Rychtik Sr. brothers-in-law Jim (Deanna) Rychtik and Joe (Dawn) Rychtik all of Port Washington sister-in-law Jill Lindert of Milwaukee nieces nephews aunts uncles cousins other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 10 7 PM at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church 1800 N. Wisconsin St. Port Washington. Interment Union Cemetery. Visitation at the CHURCH Monday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Schlenvogt Children's Education Fund at Kohler Credit Union Saukville would be appreciated.
