Mrs. Cecelia E. Lapinski Cecelia Lapinski formerly of Milwaukee passed away Friday July 10 2009 at Belgium Gardens where she had resided the last 5 years with her husband Johnnbsp;who preceded her in death earlier this year. She was 93 years old. Cecelia was born June 29 1916 in Lomira WI the daughter of Bartholomew and Antoinette Schmidt Strobel. On November 29 1941 she was united in marriage to John Lapinski in Milwaukee.nbsp; Mrs. Lapinski was employed at Curtis Manufacturing for many years. She had previously been a member of Corpus Christi Congregation in Milwaukee. Cecelia is survived by two brothers-in-law: Ray (Christine) Lapinski of Cedar Grove and Chester (Anna) Lapinski of Marshfield 16 nieces and nephews and many caregivers. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnbsp;1 brother and 2 sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 5PM on Wednesday July 15 2009 at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N. Royal Ave. in Belgium. Father James Ernster will officiate. Cecelia will be laid to rest beside her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. The family will receive visitors from 4-5PM at the Funeral Home on Wednesday July 15. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Ozaukee Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
