Mr. Carroll Fink of Port Washington passed away at Belgium Gardens early Monday morning, August 24, 2026. He was 92 years old.
Carroll was born on June 10, 1934, in Owen, WI, the son of Elroy and Margaret (nee Cruthers) Fink. Following his schooling, Carroll served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard with the 32nd Division. As a young man, Carroll enjoyed the discipline and strategy of boxing.
On July 15, 1978, Carroll was united in marriage with Betty Kuntz. The couple lived in Port Washington and built a home on property in Pipe, WI.
Mr. Fink worked for Milwaukee Electric Tool for over 30 years, retiring in 1997. Following his retirement, Carroll and Betty moved to Pipe full time. Betty preceded Carroll in death in 2020.
Carroll was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Port Washington, where he had been an active church member and a former council member.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and visiting relatives. He was also an avid reader.
Carroll is survived by his daughter Patricia (Dale) Capello of Belgium, grandchildren Mandie and Marnie, and great-grandchildren Deven, Gracee, Ian, Carter, William and Olivia. He is further survived by brother Glen (Mary) Fink, sister Margaret Boyd, sister-in-law JoAnn (the late Jim) Fink, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Carroll is preceded in death by his wife Betty, sons Gary and Mark, daughters Janice Fink and Cynthia (Robert) McLain, granddaughter Tanya Capello, brothers Frank (the late Shirley), Merlin, Jim (JoAnn), Bob (the late Fern) and sisters Bonna Jean Williams and Florence (the late Les) Mullen.
A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac (N6250 Co Rd K, Fond du Lac, WI ) at 11:45AM on September 2, 2026. The family will receive visitors in the chapel from 11AM until services begin at 11:45AM.
Carroll will be placed to rest beside his wife Betty at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
