Obituary

Ms. Carolyn R. Lord Mrs. Carolyn Lord of Woodridge Drive in Grafton passed away at Columbia-St. Mary's Ozaukee Campus in Mequon in the early morning hours Friday June 11 2004. She was 63. Carolyn was born in Milwaukee on March 16 1941 daughter of George C. and Muriel R. Johnson Lord. Ms. Lord was a very active lady who enjoyed helping other people. She spent much time in the health care industry and worked in many local hospitals. She was a floor manager in the Burn Unit at St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee a Respiratory Therapist worked at St. Joseph's Hospital and also at Lasata Nursing Home. In the last few years she had devoted much of her time working at Girl's Homes in the Stevens Point area as a caregiver. Carolyn did a lot of volunteer work in the Ozaukee County area taught Bahai Children's Classes and was very active in the Bahai community. Carolyn was a very artistic lady and was also known amongst her family as The Greatest of All Aunts reflecting how much time she spent with her thirteen nieces and nephews and how involved she was with their lives. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Nancy (Len) Malvick of West Bend Barbara (George) Deverse of Inyokern CA Kenneth Lord of Milwaukee Robert (Anne Judge) Lord of Amherst Junction and 1 sister-in-law Jeannie Lord (the late Carlton) of Waubeka. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews: Mara Lord of Seattle WA Megan (Michael) Van Blaricum of Minneapolis MN Zoe Lord of Waubeka Alison Malvick of Orlando FL Blythe Malvick of West Bend Justin (Yutein) Deverse of Portland OR Jessica and Jonathon Deverse both of Inyokern CA Brandon Lord of Boca Raton FL Benjamin Lord of Florida Madison Rose Lord of Milwaukee Devin and Ian Judge-Lord both of Amherst Junction and 4 great-nieces and nephews: Sterling and Joshua Deverse Marah and Jazz Van Blaricum other relatives and many many friends. In keeping with the Bahai faith her funeral services were held the day of her death Friday June 11 2004. She has been laid to rest next to her parents in Valhalla Cemetery in Milwaukee. Carolyn was an amazing woman who touched many peoples lives.
