Caroline G. Sternhagen Mrs. Caroline G. Sternhagen age 71 of Port Washington died unexpectedly Saturday February 14 2004 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee Campus in Mequon. Mrs. Sternhagen was born October 8 1932 in Milwaukee daughter of the late Michael and Evelyn Schroeder Marlock. On August 26 1950 she married Robert Sternhagen at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Milwaukee. She was a former member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Society. Mrs. Sternhagen enjoyed sewing especially knitting for her family jigsaw puzzles and gardening. She is survived by her husband Robert of Port Washington children Arthur C. (Diane) Sternhagen of Random Lake Robert J. (Brenda) Sternhagen of Milwaukee Karen M. (Terry) Harvey of West Allis Jacqueline (Robert) Noll of Port Washington Sam (Sandra) Sternhagen of Port Washington and Donna (John) Marks of Caledonia. She is further survived by 18 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren brother-in-law Arthur (Carol) Sternhagen sister-in-law Sylvia Marlock nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. A vigil service will be held on Thursday February 19 2004 at 8 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Interment will be in the Southern Wisconsin Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Union Grove. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM.
