Mrs. Carole Stroessner of Random Lake passed away peacefully Monday evening, March 23, 2026, in Mequon. She was 91 years old.

Carole was born in Random Lake on July 14, 1934, the daughter of Erwin and Katherine (nee Rach) Eichstedt. She attended local schools and graduated from Port Washington High School, Class of ’52, before continuing her education and earning both a Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Education from UW Milwaukee. Carole went on to work as an educator in the Milwaukee and Broadhead Public School Systems for over thirty years, many of them as a Special Education teacher.

On August 2, 1980, Carole was united in marriage with Wayne Stroessner. The couple lived in the Monroe/Browntown area until 1994, when they moved to their current home in Random Lake.

Mrs. Stroessner was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Random Lake for many years. She was an avid reader, and she was devoted to her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Wayne, daughter Julie (Sean) Cummings, sons Mark Lloyd and Erik (Trudy) Bieck, and stepsons Scott (Brenda), Steven (Kerri), and Aaron Stroessner.

She is further survived by eight grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and sisters Renee (the late Lester) Streff and Mary Kay “Mimi” Hoffmann. Carole is preceded in death by brother James Eichstedt and sisters Josette “Jo” (the late John) Shannon and Maxine (the late Bill) Share.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal gathering will be held at this time.
