Carol B. Vogt, of Grafton, WI, formerly of Fox Point, WI, and Hollywood, FL, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the remarkable age of 105.

Born in Milwaukee on March 20, 1920, to Frederic and Hazel (née Lanpheer) Breithaupt, Carol was raised in Milwaukee and went on to graduate from Lawrence University with a degree in Occupational Therapy. In 1942 she married the love of her life, Earl S. Vogt, and together they built their home and raised their family in Fox Point along the shores of Lake Michigan.

Carol found great joy in simple daily life. She was an avid knitter and weaver, creating beautiful handmade pieces that her family will cherish for generations. She loved cooking and prepared meals that brought the family together. Her passion for gardening filled the yard with life and color. These interests reflected her strong spirit, patience, and the love she put into everything she did.

Carol is survived by her loving children Frederic (Jennifer) Vogt, Thomas (Lisa) Vogt, and Ann (Michael) Kuntz; her grandchildren Michelle, Lauren, Earl, Meredith, Emily, Charles, Brian, Stephanie, and Eric; and her great‑grandchildren Lilly, Maggie, Carolyn, Piper, Juno, Thor, Finn, Demi, Cash, Bedri, and Coco. She is further survived by her niece Kathy Lemkuhl and nephew Tod (Jerry) Lemkuhl, as well as Peggy Vogt and Steve John, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Vogt; her daughter, Nancy Vogt; and her sister, Nancy (the late Marvin) Lemkuhl.

Carol’s long life was marked by devotion to her family, strength, and a generous spirit. She will be remembered with deep love and enduring gratitude by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Memorials in Nancy’s name may be directed to the Ozaukee Humane Society.

A Celebration of Life Service for Carol will be held at a later date. Please check back for updated Service details. The Eernisse Funeral Home-Michael Schramka Associate in Cedarburg is assisting the family.
