Carol R. Elbe Carol Elbe age 83 of Port Washington passed away in the evening hours of Wednesday November 23 2011 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon. Carol was born in Sheboygan on June 4 1928 daughter of Fred and Katherine Lehner Heronymus. On October 3 1954 she married Richard Elbe in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death in 2005. Carol worked as an administrator for Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington retiring in 1998. She loved traveling and going to the beach and especially enjoyed Del Mar Beach in California. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Elbe of Altadena CA her brother-in-law John Elbe of Sheboygan nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and her three siblings; Doris Braeger Fred Heronymus and Marilyn Geisch. Memorial services will be held on Saturday December 3 2011 at 12 Noon at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Pastor Don Niederfrank will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 3rd at the Funeral Home from 11 AM until the time of the services. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family.
