Celebrating the Life of
Carol Ellen Patterson
Her journey began on September 21, 1943, in Everett, WA with her parents, Etta and Ernest "Ernie" Vollan.
Carol grew up in Edmonds, WA with her siblings, Richard "Dick", Edgar "Ed" and Vicki.
She attended nursing school in Washington and joined the United States Army, working as a nurse at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in DC.
Always ready for an "adventure," she built her dream, log home and traveled to other countries. Talented in quilting, crocheting and other crafts, she donated multiple items to the needy.
After over 40 years of nursing, she retired to Port Washington, WI, and enjoyed time with daughters and their husbands; Kimberley Quirk (Dan); Jennifer Levin (Brett) and Claudia Liebeneiner (Jan); granddaughter, Remy and many other family members and friends.
Carol's new journey began November 16, 2021.
