Mrs. Carol Campbell passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019, at Harbor Club in Port Washington while surrounded by her loving family. She was 83 years old.
Carol was born in New Haven, CT on June 19, 1935, daughter of Stanley and Clara Henze Nicklas. She attended local schools, graduating from The Gateway School of Girls in Connecticut before attending Centenary College in New Jersey. On February 3, 1968 Carol was united in marriage with Ross Campbell in Connecticut. The couple lived in New Haven and Old Saybrook, CT before moving to Port Washington with their two daughters.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of St. Simon Episcopal Church in Port Washington, a former member of St. Christopher's Episcopal church in River Hills, a member Ozaukee Chapter #147 Order of Eastern Star in Port Washington and Alice Charter #76 Order of Eastern Star in Hamden CT.
Survivors include her husband Ross of Port Washington and their daughters Heidi (Brad) Behlke of Madison and Gretchen (Robert) Berthiaume of Racine. She is further survived by her grandchildren Ali Neylon, Gabi Berthiaume, Haley and Braden Behlke, great-grandson Nate Neylon, special nieces Pam, Barbara, Sharon & Janet, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Stanley & Clara, and brother Stanley Nicklas, Jr.
