Carol J. Burt of Slinger passed away peacefully with her husband by her side, on Friday, December 6, 2024. She was 83 years old.

Carol was born on September 7, 1941, in Ontonagon, Michigan. On October 15, 1989, Carol was united in marriage to Larry Burt, they spent over 35 years together.

An avid fan of gameshows, Carol spent many hours enjoying the competition from the comfort of her home. She had a great love for animals, particularly horses and polar bears, which reflected her kind spirit and deep appreciation for nature. Carol had a passion for crocheting, creating beautiful Afghans and blankets that she lovingly gifted to her family.

Those left to cherish Carols memory are her husband Larry, her children Marie Myers, Tom (Tina) Richart, Robin (Larry) Munoz, Myron Bell, Melody Bell and Johnathan Bell, her thirteen grandchildren and her thirteen great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings Lori, Margaret, Leni and Judy, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Paul Richart who was the father of Marie, Tom and Robin, along with her second husband Donald Bell who was the father of Myron, Melody and Jonathan. Along with her brother Jim.

A private service will be held.

The family would like to thank the staff at Autumn Oaks for the care they had provided to mom during her time at the community.
