Candace Tipton, of Fredonia, passed away unexpectedly at her home in the evening hours of Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was 61 years old.

Candace was born in Milwaukee on June 7, 1962, daughter of Robert and Barbara (nee Hulick) Tipton. She grew up in Milwaukee and attended Milwaukee Washington High School.

After high school, Candace worked at many local restaurants as a waitress and a cook. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and was a proud member of the Ho-Chunk Nation. Candace also loved her cats, Baby, Bootz, and Thumper.

Candace is survived by her loving boyfriend of 23 years Mike Halbman, her four siblings: Robert (Cheryl) Tipton, Dawn (Tom) Lueth, Monica Tipton, and Lori (Steve) Jelenek. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Barbara.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 5-7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington.
