Calvin Cal Ford age 80 years of Port Washington passed away Sunday February 17 2013. He was born April 17 1932 in Creston Iowa son of the late Cecil and Ruby Rice Ford. Cal was a 1950 graduate of Wykoff High School in Wykoff MN. Following graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps serving in Korea. On September 22 1956 he married Muriel Sikkink in Spring Valley MN. The couple lived in Milwaukee for seven years before moving to Port Washington in 1963. Cal was employed by the Wisconsin Electric Power Company at the Port Washington Power Plant retiring in 1995 after 30 years. He was a member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church Past Master and member of Ozaukee Lodge #17 F AM Order of Eastern Star Chapter 147 Tripoli Shrine and the Shriner's Animal unit as the Pink Panther Royal Arch Masons the Wisconsin Commandery Van Ells-Schanen American Legion Post 82 Past Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5373 Port Washington Senior Center and Green Felt Club. Cal was an avid golfer Packer and Brewer fan and enjoyed sheepshead and cribbage. He served for many years as the Secretary of the Port Washington Cemetery Association. Survivors include his wife Muriel his five daughters Teresa Gosewehr of Madison Debra Ford of Grafton Lori (Gary) Lanser of Marietta GA Patti (Dale) Rismeyer of Grafton and Stacy (Scott) Zwicker of Port Washington 12 grandchildren Gregory Stephanie (Justin) Urban Matthew Gosewehr Cody Alexis Jordan and Seth Lanser Kyle and Erika Rismeyer McKenna Madison and Mallory Zwicker his sister Beverly Mauer of Aurora MN other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents his brother Bill and an infant sister Betty. Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening February 21 6 PM at Ozaukee Lodge #17 504 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Visitation will be at the Masonic Lodge Thursday from 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital or Port Washington Senior Center appreciated.
