Vernon R. Lorge Butch Butch Lorge age 56 years of Port Washington passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on the afternoon of Friday February 8 2008 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee Campus Mequon surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 18 1951 in Port Washington son of Robert and Armella Lanser Lorge. He grew up in the Belgium area attending St. Mary Lake Church School and Cedar Grove High School graduating in 1969. Butch followed in his father's footsteps by working at Belgium Foundry for 39 years. On May 26 1983 Butch married Diane Sinnen at St. Joan of Ark Catholic Church in Las Vegas. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Saukville and also a 50 year member of Catholic Knights. He enjoyed all sports but especially playing softball and participating with his wife in Fantasy Football. Butch is survived by his wife Diane of Port Washington 3 children; Bryan of Grafton Kevin of Cedar Grove and Kristyn of Sun Prairie. He is further survived by his siblings; Allan (Jane) of Cedarburg Sheri (Jack) Emnott of Neenah Gail (Dave) Gonwa of Belgium Pam (Mark) Mentink of Cedar Grove Therese (Al) Barten of Appleton Mark (Betty) of Cedar Grove Paul (Ann) of Grafton Amy (Bob) Greisch of Port Washington and Dawn (Tom) Egan of Belgium his mother-in-law Gladys Sinnen of Saukville and brother-in-law Dan (Vanece) Sinnen of Gilmer TX nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law Rolly Sinnen. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 14th at 10:30 AM from the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Saukvillefor Mass at 11 AM. Father Karl Acker will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Nicholas Cemetery Dacada. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home Wednesday February 13th from 4-9 PM with a Parish Vigil service at 8:30PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family.
