Brendan L. Kennedy, age 21 of Grafton, passed away unexpectedly in Stevens Point on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Brendan was born on August 4, 1995 to Timothy and Margaret (nee Zangl) Kennedy.
Brendan was a current student at UW Stevens Point pursuing a degree in Urban Forestry. He enjoyed the outdoors. Whether it was hiking, canoeing, or fishing, Brendan found peace in nature. He also played La Crosse, disc golf and enjoyed snowboarding. Brendan had an ear for music and a gift for playing the guitar and making others laugh. His record player was always spinning various vinyl, as he had an eclectic musical library. Brendan liked to play video games, hang out with friends and watch movies. He had a love of Disney from a young age and spent time with his family taking trips to Disney throughout his childhood and most recently for his high school graduation gift. Brendan's smile will be deeply missed.
Brendan is survived by his parents Timothy and Margaret Kennedy, sister Caitlin Kennedy, grandparents Beverly Kennedy and Laurence and Beverly Zangl. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Brendan is preceded in death by his grandfather Lawrence Kennedy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph Parish 1619 Washington Street Grafton, 53024. Father Steve Lampe will preside. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 12:00 PM.
