Obituary

Our amazing wife, mother and grandma, Brenda Werner, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Brenda was born in Sheboygan, to Margaret and Orien Te Beest, the baby of the family. She graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1984, and met her husband and hero, Martin Werner, shortly thereafter. Together they built a home and a life in Belgium and had two children, Katelyn and Joshua.

Brenda had many careers throughout her life as wife and homemaker, beautician, child caregiver and Ozaukee County social services. She lived for her family and most enjoyed spending time with them. Whether it was coaching or supporting her children in youth sports, cheering on the Badgers and Packers, loving her husband's hunting dogs, or going camping and attending concerts; Brenda truly enjoyed just being with her friends and family knowing her life was a gift.

Her family was her strength and is what kept her going. She lives on through her husband Martin Werner, children Katelyn (Tyler) Vogeler and Joshua (Cait) Werner, her brand new grandchildren and many family members. She is preceded in death by parents Margaret and Orien Te Beest, Betty and Barry Werner, aunt Beverley Ten Haken and two brothers, Gary and Harlen Te Beest.

A Celebration of Life luncheon is planned at Buechler Farms on June 2, 2024, 11 am – 3pm at Buechler Farms, for friends and family.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to her surgeons, doctors and nurses for taking good care of her, and to Judy and Heather for being the best sister and niece to Mom.
