BONITA M. BONNIE YANKO Mrs. Bonnie Yanko of Colonial Parkway in Saukville passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton early Saturday morning December 27 2014. She was 60 years old. Bonita was born in Milwaukee on March 26 1954 daughter of Hilbert and Anna Warren Radtke. She attended local schools and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran high School with the Class of 1973. Bonnie took a job with Wisconsin Compensation Rating Bureau following her schooling and remained there until she retired in 2009. On August 7 1976 Bonnie was united in marriage with Robert Yanko at North Trinity Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. The couple settled in Milwaukee and later moved to Saukville in 1984. Mrs. Yanko was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grafton where she was a member of the choir and a former member of the Ladies Guild. Bonnie loved music especially Marching Band music and had played the Saxophone in High School. She enjoyed doing cross-stitchery and shared much of her work with others. Mrs. Yanko collected bells from her travels and had cow memorabilia throughout her home. Bonnie loved animals- especially dogs- and also enjoyed baking and cooking. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she had an extensive Christmas Village she set up yearly and added to annually. Mrs. Yanko is survived by her husband Bob of Saukville and their sons Jason Yanko of Middleton and Douglas Yanko also of Saukville. She is further survived by her sisters Patricia Ellis of West Bend Beatrice (the late Ruben) Wilbur of Milwaukee brothers Joseph (Jenny) Clune of Milwaukee and Norbert (Jane) Clune of West Bend nieces nephews son-of-the-heart Justin Felton of Saukville other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter Jessica her parents and a brother. A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM on Saturday January 3rd 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church 1332 Arrowhead Road Grafton. Pastor Mark Wagner will preside. She will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Saturday from 1-3PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
