Mr. Blaine Sather passed away suddenly at his home in the Town of Port Washington on Monday afternoon, November 2, 2020. He was 61 years old.
Blaine was born in West Allis on May 9, 1959, son of Robert and Beverly Moen Sather. He grew up in West Allis and attended local schools, including West Milwaukee High School.
On August 24, 1984, Blaine was united in marriage with Margie Heyder. The couple lived in West Allis before moving to Hustisford and Grafton, later settling in Port Washington in 2017. Mr. Sather was employed by Boelter Company in Glendale, where he has worked for over 38 years.
There was nothing Blaine loved more than riding his Harley, except maybe spending time with his new granddaughter; he enjoyed keeping himself busy and being outside, whether he was doing yardwork or hunting and fishing with family and friends. Blaine and Margie loved to travel and had been to locations such as China, the Philippines, Italy, Hawaii and Norway. Above all, time spent with his children and family was always treasured.
Survivors include his wife Margie of the Town of Port Washington, daughter Andrea Sather (fiancé Jerry Bartlein) of Menasha, son Joseph (Felicia) Sather of West Allis and granddaughter Maxine Sather. He is further survived by mother Beverly Sather, sister Beth (Norm) MacLeod, brother Barry Sather, all of West Allis, brother Brian (Judy) Sather of Milwaukee, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Sather.
A Memorial Service is planned for 6PM on Friday, November 6th at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. Pastor Colson Leach will preside. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4:30PM until services at 6PM.
