Obituary

Betty A. Meaux (Nee Beierle) passed away peacefully at her home in Germantown, WI on Sunday August 5, 2018 at the age of 96. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and friend. Betty was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill (former Milwaukee County Supervisor), sisters Ann Chovanec, Rose Dean and daughter in law Judy Meaux. She is survived by sons Bob (Pam) Meaux, Tom, and David (Shaun), grandchildren Nicky, Ben, Natalie Meaux, Cari Kauth Gearhard and great grand son Mason Gearhard Also survived by nieces Penny (Gary) Pfister, Judy Gordon, Jackie (David) Wangerin and nephew Jim Dean. Betty's greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her adored grandchildren. She was very proud of them and was sure they would have wonderful successful happy lives. While Betty was busy raising her family she had a number of part time jobs including a memorable stint as a HR recruiter at a temporary help firm before retiring to Germantown in 1999. She enjoyed good laughs, barbecues, ball games, Sheepshead card games and an occasional shorty beer. We will forever miss her kindness, beautiful smile, quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM on Friday August 10, 2018 at St Boniface Catholic Parish, W204 N11940 Goldendale Rd, Germantown, WI 53022. Visitation Friday at the church from 10-11 AM. Private entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Betty was a religious, spiritual person, and had a deep belief in Christian values.
