Obituary

BETTY A. KIRMSE Mrs. Betty Kirmse of Hwy H. in Waubeka passed away Saturday evening April 11 2015 at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon while surrounded by her family. She was 86 years old. Betty was born in Port Washington on March 5 1929 daughter of Henry and Gertrude Wiesner Rosewitz. She attended local schools and graduated from Mercy High School in Milwaukee in 1947. Following her schooling she worked at the Port Washington Chair Factory and Gilson's. On June 12 1948 she was united in marriage with Arno Kirmse at St. Pauls Community Church in Waubeka. The couple lived in Port Washington a bit before settling in Waubeka and raising their family. Arno preceded her in death in 1999. Betty enjoyed a good game of sheepshead bowling golf and playing Yatzee!.She was an avid Packers fan- particularly of Clay Matthews a volunteer with the American Heart Association and was on the Election Board in the town of Fredonia for many years. Mrs. Kirmse was also very fond of family fish fry. Mrs. Kirmse is survived by her four children: Arno J. Butch Kirmse Robin (Wade) Auer John (Tammy) Kirmse all of Waubeka and Michael (Tonya) Kirmse of Silver Creek. She is also survived by ten grandchildren: Sara (Jason) Caswell Amanda (Richard) Sincock Michael Auer Michael Kirmse Emily Kirmse Molly Morgan Kirmse Corey Dimmer Jesse Paige Verbanac 7 great-grandchildren sister Pauline Tarebo of Bryson City NC sister-in-law June Treadeau of Greenland MI other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband parents and brothers John Henry Rosewitz. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM on Saturday April 18t at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Rev. Linda Westphal-Buth will officiate. Betty will be laid to rest beside her husband in St. Paul's Union Cemetery Waubeka. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 AM until 1PM. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers. Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.com .
