BESSIE BRAHM GRANNY Mrs. Bessie Granny Brahm of 11th Ave. in Grafton formerly of Wauwatosa passed away Tuesday morning April 10th 2007 at Cedar Springs Health Rehabilitation Center in Cedarburg. She was 91 years old. Bessie was born on May 5 1915 in West Allis the fifth child of Anton and Mary Hanak Dustir. She was united in marriage with Edwin Brahm on September 5 1936 in Milwaukee. The couple lived in Wauwatosa for many years. Bessie worked in the JC Penney Warehouse in Milwaukee as a clerk retiring after 20 years on the job. Edwin preceded her in death on August 5 1965. Granny moved to Grafton in 2004 to live near her family. She always enjoyed gardening crocheting and socializing. She is survived by her daughter Joanne Wetor of Grafton 5 grandchildren: Dawn (Wayne) Reimer of Surprise AZ Rob (Wendy) Wetor of Belgium Mike (Christine) Wetor of West Bend Paul Brackmann of Mequon and Joe (Sherry) Brackmann also of West Bend. She is further survived by 7 great-grandchildren nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband daughter Judy Brackmann son-in-law Norbert Brackmann 2 brothers: Jerry and George Dustir and 2 sisters: Marie Mame Haag and Francie Pekar. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 13th 11:30 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel 7301 W. Nash St. Milwaukee. Father Jim Ernster will officiate. Afterwards Bessie will be laid to rest next to her husband. The family will receive visitors on Friday at Holy Cross Chapel from 10-11:30AM.
