Mr. Bernie Buser Mr. Bernie Buser age 83 passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 2 2006 at his residence in Saukville surrounded by his family. Bernie was born May 19 1923 in Bailyville Kansas son of Ben and Rose Rilinger Buser. He grew up on a Kansas farm and moved to Wisconsin in 1937. On May 22 1944 he married Rita Ott of the Town of Belgium at the Military Chapel in Langly Field Virginia. Bernie and Rita were married for 62 years. Mr. Buser was a World War II combat veteran of the 8th Army Air Force serving on over 25 combat missions. After World War II Bernie operated an independent dump truck business worked for several manufacturers and was a salesman for two companies. More recently he was employed for 21 years as a forklift driver at Simplicity MFG. in Port Washington retiring in 1983. Bernie is survived by his wife Rita their three children: David (Barbara) of Wisconsin Rapids Diane Buser Wendland of Pewaukee and Dale (Shelly) of Port Washington four grandchildren: Jeffrey Buser David M. Buser Amy Wendland (Andrew)Wundrock and Randall Wendland three great-grandchildren one brother Leo (Betty) Buser of North Carolina other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by six brothers: Ed Alvin Art Emmett Joh and Max and two sisters: Agnes and Rosemary. Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 5th at 12 noon at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington.
