Bernice A. Kolberg Mrs. Bernice Kolberg age 86 years of Marengo IL passed away on Tuesday May 25 2004 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee Campus in Mequon WI. She was born in Marengo on January 8 1918 daughter of the late Henry Zickuhr and Augusta Krueger Zickuhr. On November 12 1938 she married Erhardt Kolberg at Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo. He preceded her in death in 2002. Mrs. Kolberg was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church and also belonged to the Ladies Aid and the Altar Guild as well as other church groups. She is survived by her daughter Kay (Blaine) Hilgendorf of Cedarburg WI and three granddaughters Jessica Jordan and Melissa Hilgendorf. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law Eleanor Kolberg and Lisa Zickuhr her special friends Edna Ham and Hazel Beyer other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Sue Ettner for all her help and support. Funeral services will be held on Sunday May 30 2004 3 PM at Zion Lutheran Church 412 Jackson St. Marengo with Rev.Glen Borhart officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3PM at the church. Burial will take place in Marengo City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo.
