Bernice M. Gasser-Burmesch Mrs. Bernice M. Gasser-Burmesch age 83 years of the Town of Belgium passed away in the morning hours of Tuesday November 24 2009 at Columbia St. Maryrsquo;s Hospital in Mequon.nbsp; She was born in Port Washington daughter of Matt and Celia Gross Kultgen.nbsp; Bernice worked at the Port Washington Chair Factory as an upholsterer before marrying Max Gasser on September 22 1945 at St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Port Washington.nbsp; Max preceded her in death in 1989.nbsp; On March 28 1998 she married Eugene Burmesch at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg.nbsp; Bernice was a member of St. Mary Parish in Lake Church.nbsp; She enjoyed shopping and going out to eat.nbsp; She is survived by her husband Eugene of Cascade her children; Deborah (Wayne) DeBlaey of Oostburg Deanna (the late Pete) Ramirez of Cedar Grove Daniel (Lucy) Gasser of Belgium and Carmen Pupp (Dan Geib) of Belgium.nbsp; She is further survived by 3 brothers 14 grandchildren numerous great-grandchildren nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.nbsp; She is preceded in death by her first husband Max her son David Gasser 3 grandchildren and her son-in-law Pete Ramirez.nbsp; Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 28th at 2 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N.
