Bernard "Bing" G. Golownia of Saukville passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025. He was 83 years old. He was born on June 1, 1942, son of Bernard J. and Sylvia Golownia (nee Krsek).

Bing grew up in Milwaukee and later moved to Saukville after he married the love of his life, Chelene Golownia (nee Ebert) on August 10, 1963. Together they raised five children. He was a sheet metal worker and was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Local 18 Union for over 60 years and was a part of the Saukville Moose Lodge for over 50 years.

Bing was a family man- he was loved for his excellent sense of humor, always cracking "dad jokes." He was a big fan of the Packers, Brewers, and also enjoyed golf. He ran a hobby farm where he gardened and raised a variety of different animals. Bing was devoted to the Ozaukee Radio Club and was a HAM radio operator, known as "AA9CI." Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Sylvia; his daughter Mary Ann (Bob) Maechtle; and his sister Irene (Robert) Gagnon.

Bing is survived by his beloved wife Chelene of 62 years; his sons Bernard H. (Ok Sun) Golownia, Joseph (Denise) Golownia, and Daniel Golownia; his daughter Celeste (Brad) Heft; his grand children Bernard J and John Golownia, Jacob (Hanna) Maechtle, Nathan Golownia, Mariah Niles, Nicole, Cody, and Ty Golownia, Chase and Ashlyn Heft; great grandson Theodore Maechtle; his brothers Ronald (Irma) Golownia and Edward (Anne) Golownia, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 5PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Parkside Community UCC, 166 W. Dekora St., Saukville, WI 53080. Pastor Laura Blanco will preside. The family will receive guests at the church from 3PM until services begin at 5PM. Bing will be laid to rest at Waubeka Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorials to the Ozaukee Radio Club or Parkside Community UCC in Saukville.
