Mr. Benjamin A. Hanson age 98 years passed away peacefully on August 3 2014. He was the loving husband of Margaret (nee Hess) for 72 years. She preceded him in death in 2013. Ben is survived by his sons Wayne (Janet) Hanson of Madison and Lloyd (Susan) Hanson of Shorewood grandchildren Brynn Hanson Ann Hanson and Jed Hanson great-grandson Ben Hanson-Nogues and other friends and relatives. Benny along with Margaret operated Hanson Pontiac Sales and Service in Cedarburg from 1939 to retirement in 1980. Ben served on the City Council for five years and also on the Trinity Lutheran Church Council. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30AM on Thursday Aug. 7 at Trinity Lutheran Church N60 W6047 Columbia Rd Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 10:30-11:30AM. Ben will be laid to rest beside Margaret at Trinity Cemetery in the Town of Maple Valley Oconto County. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church Cedarburg are appreciated.
