Obituary

BEATRICE M. BIRENBAUM BEATIE Mrs. Beatie Birenbaum age 88 of Random Lake died at Gables on the Pond on Monday morning September 21 2015. Beatrice was born in Fredonia on November 25 1926 the daughter of Peter and Anna Binsfeld Schueller. On May 18 1946 she married Joseph Birenbaum at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Fredonia. They farmed in the Town of Fredonia until retiring in 1981. Joseph preceded her in death on November 9 2007. Mrs. Birenbaum was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. Mary's Chapel in Random Lake where she was also a member of the Christian Women. She enjoyed puzzles crocheting gardening quilting and playing Sheepshead. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren great-grandchildren. She is survived by six children: Kathleen Schmidt Sue Ann (Joseph) Johannes both of Cedar Grove Thomas (Donna) of Fredonia Peter (Janice) John (Marilyn) and Joseph Jr. all of Random Lake. She is further survived by 16 grandchildren 28 (and 1 soon-to arrive) great-grandchildren brothers-in-law Vincent Birenbaum of Random Lake and Richard (Shirley) Birenbaum of Cedar Grove sister-in-law Alice Birenbaum of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph son-in-law John Schmidt sister Lorena (the late Eugene) Mayer sisters-and brothers-in-law Marie (the late Alvin) Wollner Ray (the late Clare) Birenbaum Eugene Birenbaum and Clemens (the late Pat) Birenbaum. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6PM on Thursday September 24th at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Mary's Chapel in Random Lake (230 Butler Street). Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Richard Cerpich Fr. Todd Budde and Fr. Charles Wester. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Thursday from 4-6PM. Beatie will be laid to rest beside her husband in the parish cemetery the following day. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. The family wishes to thank the staff at The Gables and Hospice Advantage for the wonderful care they have given to Beatie.
