She was preceded in death by her parents, sister June Domoe, brother Oliver Torke, granddaughter Olivia Bowe, and many other relatives. Beata had a great interest in genealogy and she produced and/or coordinated several family history books, videos, and family reunions. She served as a hospice volunteer for St. Nicholas Hospital and also spent countless hours as a volunteer at the Luxembourg American Cultural Society & Center.
