BARBARA A. ZIMMERMANN Mrs. Barb Zimmerman of Hwy144 in Random Lake passed away at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center in Sheboygan early in the morning on Wednesday November 7th 2007. She was 73 years old. Barbara was born on July 27 1934 in Sheboygan daughter of Bernard and Margaret Nelson Federer. After graduating from Random Lake High School she was united in marriage with Kenneth Zimmermann on February 14 1953. They settled in Random Lake and started their family. Dick and Barb bought Globe Lanes in 1961 and ran it until they retired in 1992. She was a member of St. Johnrsquo;s United Church of Christ and had been a former Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed spending time with her family playing cards volunteering at the Random Lake Food Pantry and collecting salt amp; pepper shakers. Barb and Dick liked to travel to Las Vegas in the summers. In later years she was very involved with her grandchildren and their dog Bailey. She is survived by her children Kenneth ldquo;Butchrdquo; (Vicki) Zimmermann of Random Lake Cindy Maertz- Ardell of Sheboygan and the late Gail Ann Zimmermann. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Korry Ardell of Elkhart Lake Travis (Nicole) Ardell and Amber Maertz all of Sheboygan Tami (Craig Breit) Ardell of Manitowoc Angel (David) Borchardt Matt (Jen) and Ben Zimmermann all of Random Lake 4 great- grandchildren: Austin Ardell Hannah Cole and Abby Borchardt. She is further survived by 1 sister Bernadine Otte of Phoenix AZ 2 sisters-in-law: Betty Reul and Bernice (Ray) Scholler both of Random Lake nieces nephews other relatives and many many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband and her daughter. Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 9th 6PM at St. Johnrsquo;s United Church of Christ Random Lake Road Random Lake. Pastor Don Niederfrank will officiate. Burial will take place the following day in Random Lake Union Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday at the CHURCH from 3-6PM. Memorials are suggested to the St. Johnrsquo;s United Church of Christ. Eernisse Funeral Home in Belgium is assisting the family.
