Barbara M. Schiller Barbara Schiller, formerly of McHenry, IL and Cedarburg, WI found peace in the evening hours of Thursday, November 9, 2017, surrounded by loved ones, at Silverado in Brookfield. She was 68 years old. Barb was born in Mason City IA, on July 13, 1949, daughter of Oscar James Olson and Louise Jones Olson. She grew up in Garner, IA and graduated from Garner Hayfield High School in 1967. On October 11, 1975, she married Roger Schiller in Waterloo, IA. In 1984 they moved their family to Cedarburg, WI. Barbara was a very active member of Advent Lutheran Church and the Cedarburg Junior Women's Club. In 1997 they moved their family to McHenry, IL. Barbara worked at Pepper Construction in the Accounts Payable department until her retirement in 2013. She loved to spend time with her friends, travel, and sing in the church choir, but her greatest passion was a lifelong devotion to supporting and caring for her husband and children. She is survived by her three children: James (Lauren Burke) Schiller of New Berlin, WI, Kara Schiller of Wauwatosa, WI and David Schiller of Champaign, IL. She is further survived by her stepmother Elaine Olson of Garner, IA and six siblings: Jean Elliott of Glendale, WI, James (Barb) Olson of Belgium, WI, Debbie (Wilmer) Tiedemann of May City, IA, Roger Olson of Chicago, IL, Bill (Lori) Wreghitt of Ventura, IA and Jennifer Golien of Clear Lake, IA, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger and her father Oscar. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 18th at 1 PM at Advent Lutheran Church W63N642 Washington Ave., Cedarburg, WI. Pastor Janis Kinens will officiate the service. A time of Gathering will take place at the church on Saturday the 18th from 11 AM until the time of services. Memorial contributions are suggested to Seasons Hospice www.seasonshospice.org.
