Surrounded by her family, Barbara Ann Niemczyk of Grafton passed away at the Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon on Monday May 15, 2017 at the age of 81. She was born in Milwaukee on August 12, 1935, the daughter of Carl and Bernadette (nee Strebig) Rogge. Barbara was united in marriage to Robert John Niemczyk in Milwaukee on September 12, 1959. Their marriage was blessed with 5 children: Donna (Chris) Mullen of Edmond, OK, Steve (Joan) Niemczyk of Green Bay, WI, Mary (Mario) Valdes of Grafton, WI, Rob (Shirley) Niemczyk of Wheatland, WY and Thomas Niemczyk of Belgium, WI. She was the proud grandmother of Sheridan and Rachel Mullen, Michael Niemczyk, Nikko and Alex Valdes and Kaitlyn Niemczyk, and is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson: Casey Niemczyk, and siblings: Carl Rogge, Jimmy Rogge, Mary Jane Gill, Margaret Woest, Helen Stemo and Bill Rogge. Barbara worked for 28 years in the Bursar's Office at UW-Milwaukee. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed golfing, searching for collectables, attending festivals, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
