Barbara Kleppin (nee Simonis) of the Town of Grafton went to her heavenly home on the afternoon of Friday September 13 2013 at her residence after fighting a 20 year battle with breast cancer. She was 64 years old. Barb was born in Stevens Point on August 16 1949 daughter of Aloys Simonis and Lorraine Kuklinski Simonis. Barb grew up in Milwaukee graduating from Riverside High School in 1968. She continued her education at MATC earning an Associate Degree in business. Barb retired from Milwaukee Transport Services Inc. in 2011. On October 4 1969 she married Randolph Kleppin at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Milwaukee and they were inseparable for nearly 44 years. Barb was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville and also a proud member of the NRA. She enjoyed motorcycling fishing hunting shooting sporting clays and traveling with her loving husband. During a time in her life Barb was active in showing the couple's German Short Hair Pointers and finished two AKC champions. She is survived by her husband Randy of the Town of Grafton and her brother Alan (Colleen) Simonis of Muskego. She is preceded in death by her parents her sister Nancy (Michael) Vebber of Fox Point and her brother Mark (Jacqueline) Simonis of West Allis. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law Carole (the late John) Falkowski of Milwaukee and Linda (Mark) Hebein of Saukville nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She will be dearly missed by many. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 18th at 11 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 145 W. Church St in Saukville. Father Karl Acker will preside. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington. Visitation will be at the Church on Wednesday September 18th from 9-11 AM.
