Barbara Bennett age 48 of Fredonia went to be with her mother in Godrsquo;s Kingdom on Tuesday August 5 2008. She passed away at UW-Hospital in Madison where she had been recovering after a heart and lung transplant. Barbara was born in Milwaukee on April 25 1960 daughter of Delbert and Rita (nee Rickl) Sargent. In 1974 Barbararsquo;s family moved to the Random Lake area where she attended school graduating from Random Lake High School in 1978. On October 15 1988 she married Victor Bennett at St. Johnrsquo;s Chapel in Milwaukee. That year the couple bought a house in Fredonia and moved to the area. Mrs. Bennett worked as a receptionist at Crestwood Cut Curl in Milwaukee for 15 years. Barbararsquo;s greatest joy in life was raising her son Joe. She attended The Vineyard Community Church in Grafton and also enjoyed selling Avon tending to animals taking care of her indoor plants and outdoor flower beds and riding on the back of her husbandrsquo;s motorcycle. She is survived by her husband Victor and son Joseph of Fredonia her father Delbert Sargent of Kiel 9 siblings; Joyce Schone of Milwaukee Kenneth (Karen) Sargent of Adell Elaine (Gerald) Bauer of Auburndale Robert (Patsy) Sargent of Adell Edward (Willie) Sargent of Mankato MN Linda (John) Serrano of Glendale William (Denise) Sargent of Pelzer SC Daniel (Vicky) Sargent of Kiel and Gerald Sargent of West Allis. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Rita and her sister Sharon. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 9 2008 at 10 AM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington with Pastor Pat Mulcahy officiating. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday August 8th from 5-8 PM and on Saturday August 9th from 9 AM until the time of services.
