BARBARA A. JOHANNES Mrs. Barbara Johannes passed away at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon on Tuesday May 5 2015. She was 76 years old. Barbara was born in Milwaukee on April 29 1939 daughter of Milton and Martha Labrosse Kell. She attended local schools graduating from Washington High School in 1957. She was united in marriage with Oliver Tony Johannes in Corpus Christi in Milwaukee on October 5 1963. The couple settled in Milwaukee and raised their family of three boys. Mrs. Johannes loved taking care of her family and was extremely proud of her boys. She would frequently remind them I brought you into this world and I can take you out! At the many sporting events she attended over the years you could always hear her voice above the crowd cheering her boys on. She enjoyed reading watching old movies and was always upbeat despite her health issues. Barbara was a true picture of how to love others and she loved unconditionally. Her beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11AM on Saturday May 9th at Divine Savior Parish Holy Cross Chapel 5332 Hwy B in the Town of Belgium. Father Neil Zinthefer will preside. She will be laid to rest at St. Rose Cemetery in Fredonia. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Saturday from 9-11AM.
