Mrs. Barbara Bogatzke of Saukville passed away Tuesday evening March 17 2015 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington. She was 75 years old. Barbara was born August 29 1939 in Milwaukee the daughter of Alexander and Irene (nee Reddemann) Kraczek. On December 9 1967 she was united in marriage with Roger Bogatzke at St. Andrew's Church in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 2011. The couple moved from Milwaukee to Eagle River and then settled in Saukville. Barbara and Roger did everything together from being active in church affairs at whichever church they belonged to at the time to spending time together outdoors. They taught all of their daughters boating skills hunting fishing and to be respectful of nature. Barbara was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grafton where she enjoyed working on banners and creating floral arrangements. Barbara was an avid Brewers fan who enjoyed going to games with her family. Her hobbies included floral design artwork painting woodworking crafting scrapbooking reading writing articles for Birds and Blooms magazine spending time with her family and attending her grandson's sporting events. Barbara is survived by her three daughters: Annette (Dominique) De Sercey of Panama City Beach FL Jeannette Schaub of Panama City Beach FL and Lynette (Russell) Whitford of Saukville. She is further survived by two grandsons: Travis and Trenton Whitford nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roger. Funeral services will be held at 5PM on Wednesday March 25 2015 at Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church 1332 Arrowhead Road in Grafton with Pastor Mark Wagner officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 3-5PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Ozaukee County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family.
