Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at the age of 75. Beloved husband for 49 yearrs of Bonnie (Nee Lestina). Loving father of Kim Kohls and Jeffrey (Steph) Merkle. Proud grandfather of Samantha Kohls, Andrew Kohls, Jackson Merkle and Mia Merkle. Also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, colleagues and clients. Tom graduated from Marquette University High School, Marquette University and earned his law degree from Marquette Law School. He was a talented Lawyer for over 45 yrs, and a founding member of O'Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJonge & Lainge SC. He was appointed by the Supreme Court to serve on the Office of Lawyer Regulations District Two Committee. While living in Fox Point he was an active member of St. Monica Parish in Whitefish Bay, serving on the School Board and Parish Council. Tom loved his work and enjoyed golfing, MU Basketball, Coke & chocolate chips, traveling, boating and skiing on the lake and coaching his son's soccer team. Above all else, Tom loved his family. He will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, memorials to MUHS or St. Jude Children's Hospital are appreciated.
