ARVIN D. BENNETT Mr. Arvin Bennett age 84 years of Freistadt Road in Thiensville passed away at Columbia- St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee Campus in Mequon on Friday morning June 27 2003. Arvin was born in Kentucky on October 5 1918 son of Letcher and Alice Hoover Bennett. He was one of seven children. On August 16 1941 Mr. Bennett was united in marriage to Ms. Katherine Hildebrandt in Evanston IL. The couple eventually moved to Wisconsin. At the age of 65 Arvin retired from his job as a Quality Control Inspector at Evenrude Marine Motors. Mr. Bennett was a very active member of Ozaukee Baptist Church were he was a past deacon as well as a proud member of the NRA and the Saukville Gun Club. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his children Arthur Bennett of Thiensville and Arlene (Charles JR.) Heeren of Saukville 4 grandchildren: Merri Kay Charles Heeren III Kirk and Matthew Bennett. HE is further survived by 1 sister Elsie (Robert) Ricks of Michigan 2 brothers Glenn (Beth) Bennett of Eagle River and Robert (Karen) Bennett of Lowell MI nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Katherine and 3 brothers: Leonard Harold and Lester. Funeral Services will be held for Mr. Bennett on Thursday July 3 2003 1 PM at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Avenue Port Washington. Pastor Travis Graf will officiate. Arvin will be intered next to his wife at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg.
