ARTHUR R. STEINERT Ted Mr. Ted Steinert of Park Street in Belgium passed away at his residence Monday afternoon December 15 2003. He was 85 years old. Ted was born in Wauwatosa on May 25 1918 son of Emil and Emma Wilke Steinert. He was employed as a truck driver delivering gasoline for Sinclair / Atlantic Richfield Co. On June 29 1940 he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Dean in Milwaukee. The couple lived in Milwaukee before building a house in Mequon. They later moved to the Port Washington area and settled in Belgium in 1998. Mary Ann preceded him in death in 2001. Ted was known for his love of tinkering. He spent much time with his grandchildren and great-grandkids. Mr. Steinert is survived by his 5 children: Mary (Jeffrey) Mathieus of Berlin Stephen (Pat) of Steinert of Howards Grove Joseph (Rosie) Steinert James (Wendy) Steinert both of Port Washington and John Steinert of Saukville. He is further survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren 2 sisters-in-law Rose Dean of Hartland and Jody Steinert of Hobbs NM nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife 2 daughters Jane McAlpin and Sarah Kissinger 1 sister Ruth Marie and 3 brothers: Allen Carl and Earl. Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 18 10:30AM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N. Royal Ave. Belgium. Father James Vojtik will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery Lake Church.
