ARTHUR H. GEIB Mr. Art Geib of Parknoll Lane Port Washington passed away Monday evening February 6 2006 at Columbia-St. Mary's Ozaukee Campus in Mequon. He was 76 years old. Arthur was born in Milwaukee on July 21 1929 son of Arthur Sr. and Esther Polzin Geib. After serving in the Korean War Art was united in marriage with Gailya Miller on June 24 1961 at Donovan Church of Christ in Donovan IL. The couple moved to Port Washington in 1962. Mr. Geib worked as a machinist most recently at Trak International and Falk Corporation retiring in 1994. Art was a member of Grand Ave. United Methodist Church in Port Washington. He was a long-time member of the Sierra Club having spent time doing trail maintenance across the country the Audubon Society and a former member of Runners of OZ. Mr. Geib took up running in his forty's and previously enjoyed doing marathons and charity runs. He was an artist working first in metal and later moving on to colored drawings and was also very environmentally conscious and aware of social justice protesting on behalf on the United Farm Workers in the 1970's. Mr. Geib also enjoyed camping rock hunting and taking Geology classes. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Gailya Geib of Port Washington and their daughter Leslie (Mark) Felton of St. Louis MO. Art is further survived by his brother-in-law Karl (Michal) Miller of Seaview WA other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by one son Richard Geib. Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 10th 7PM at the Grand Ave. United Methodist Church 505 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Pastor David Guse will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church Friday from 6-7 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center 1111 E.
