Arnold J. Voigt Arnold Voigt, of Fredonia, formerly of Cedar Grove passed away in the evening hours of Friday, January 22, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake where he had been a resident. He was 88 years old. Arnold was born in Fillmore on November 19, 1927, son of Clarence Voigt and Esther Birkholz Voigt. On September 24, 1949 he married Carol Mayer in Sheboygan. Arnold worked as a Foreman for Musebeck Shoe Factory in Cedar Grove for many years. Arnold was a long-time member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Random Lake. He also enjoyed creating stain glass, loom-made carpets, and pitching horseshoes. He is survived by his three children: Gary (Connie) Voigt of Jacksonville, FL, Kevin (Becky) Voigt of Shamong, NJ and Susan (Kyle) Crislip of Saukville. He is further survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers Clarence (Arlene) Voigt and Ronald Voigt both of West Bend, brother-in-law Dan Ebert of Fillmore, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Carol, daughters Lynn Voigt, Elizabeth Dietrich and Kara Voigt, grandsons Eric Dietrich and Jacob Voigt, two sisters Doris Pomahac and Darlene Ebert and one brother Kenneth Voigt. Funeral services will take on Saturday, January 30th at 11 AM at St. John's United Church of Christ in Random Lake. Pastor Jayne Helgevold will preside. A light lunch will be served after the service. Arnold will be laid to rest next to his wife in Union Cemetery, Fillmore. Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 30th at the CHURCH from 9 AM – 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to The American Cancer Society.
