Arlene Katherine Heeren of Saukville passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. She was 82. Arlene was born the beloved daughter of Arvin and Katherine (nee Hildebrandt) Bennett on March 22, 1942. On December 21, 1968, she was united in marriage with Charles Heeren Jr. at Ozaukee Baptist Church in Cedarburg.

Arlene was a very devoted Christian and generously gave to all Christian ministries.

Arlene is survived by her son Charles Heeren III and beloved daughter-in-law Amy Heeren, adored cat Boo Boo Girl and dogs Roxie and Daisy. She is also survived by her estranged daughter Merri.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, WI 53074. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 3:00-5:00pm. Arlene will be laid to rest next to her husband at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
