Antonia ldquo;Tonirdquo; Smith nbsp;Antonia ldquo;Tonirdquo; Smith age 86 years of West Grand Ave. in Port Washington died Saturday August 15 2009 at Newcastle Place in Mequon after battling acute myloid leukemia for eight months.nbsp; She was born August 10 1923 in the Town of Harrison Calumet County WI daughter of Anton and Gertrude Guelig Sevenich.nbsp; She received her undergraduate degree from UW Whitewater and her Master of Business Administration degree from UW Madison.nbsp; She taught at Random Lake High School from 1946 ndash; 1952 then moved to Port Washington and was the business education teacher at Port Washington High School from 1952 until 1987.nbsp; On December 27 1958 she married Lloyd Smith at St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Stockbridge WI.nbsp;nbsp; Along with her husband Mrs. Smith owned and operated the Harborside Motor Inn in Port Washington until they retired and sold the inn.nbsp; She was a member of St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Port Washington and enjoyed world-wide traveling reading cooking needlework and hairpin lace a crochet technique used to make afghans.
