Anthony "Tony" Roman Lorge, 73, unexpectedly passed away on May 13, 2022. Tony was born February 9, 1949, in Port Washington, Wisconsin to Marian and Roman Lorge. Tony grew up on the homestead with his grandparents, parents, siblings, and cousins.
As a lifelong resident of Saukville, Tony graduated from Ozaukee High School and started working for his father in Milwaukee. Tony was drafted and served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1975. He earned a bronze star for his courage during the Vietnam conflict. Upon returning home Tony came back to the homestead and began building a hot rod.
In Tony's "free" time he was raising cattle, puppies, and three young men. He also found time to rebuild hot rods and antique pickup trucks. Tony raised cattle throughout his lifetime. Over the years they also raised turkeys, chickens, pigs, and German shepherds.
Tony worked for the Ozaukee County Highway Department for 27 years. Upon retiring, Tony spent his time raising cattle and Labradors, if given an opportunity he would tell you all about them.
In the brief moments he did get away, he'd go hunting with his best friend Marc.
Tony is survived by three children Andrew, Jonathan, and Nicholas. He is further survived by Kyle, who was like a son, the family farm and other friends and family.
Tony always had a smile on his face and loved giving people a hard time when he wasn't lending a hand.
