ANTHONY M. BRANDA Mr. Anthony Branda of County Road RR in the Town of Holland passed away at Kindred Hospital in Greenfield on Monday evening April 20th 2009.nbsp; He was 64 years old.nbsp; Anthony was born in Altoona PA on July 1 1944 son of Enrico and Mildred Savino Branda.nbsp; After completing his schooling he joined the US Navy where he served until 1967.nbsp; On October 16 1965 Anthony was united in marriage with Ms. Bette Miller at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Allis.nbsp; The couple settled in West Allis and moved to the Cedar Grove area in 1976.nbsp; Tony was a surveyor for the former Wisconsin Gas Company retiring in 2000 after 30 years on the job. After his retirement he ran his own land surveying company and traveled throughout the state with his work.nbsp; He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Port Washington where he had been very active including serving as head usher and as a church elder. Mr. Branda was a former member and past president of USW Local 218-1 and had also been involved with Habitat for Humanity. nbsp;Tony was an old movie buff and had a great affection for John Wayne films.nbsp; He also enjoyed boating traveling and playing cribbage Uno and solitaire. Tony is survived by his wife Bette of the Town of Holland their two children: James (Terry) Branda of Cordova TN and Amy (Tony) Di Paolo of Pottstown PA six grandchildren: Timothy Christopher and Brittany Branda of Cordova TN and Joseph Tristan and Sofia Di Paolo of Pottstown PA.nbsp; He is further survived by two sisters: Rosemary (Marty) Degenhardt of Gautier MS and Patricia Carney of Wilmington DE two brothers: Larry Branda of Penns Grove NJ and Rick (Karen) Branda of Fremont OH sisters- and brothers-in-law nieces nephews other relatives and MANY friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Joseph Branda.nbsp; Funeral Services are scheduled for 7:30PM on Friday April 24 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church 1525 N.
